Another year another FIFA game, with a year number appended to it, and this time FIFA 17 has a new new things to share with us. Yes, they’re all soccer related. I’ll go get my boots and my ball and I’ll meet you on the pitch for this review.

We Review: Lost Sea
Being stuck in the Bermuda Triangle ain’t easy. For one, you have to deal with the whole “going missing” thing. And all those ships that have disappeared in there have got to be floating somewhere. Now if you were an explorer, there might be a chance for you. Let’s take a look around the Lost Sea, and see what treasures we can find.
We Review: The Technomancer
The Technomancer is the sequel to a game called Mars: War Logs, which was released back in 2013. The game was set on Mars after humanity had colonized it, and was reasonably received. The sequel is here now, and we got a chance to give it a go and see what life on Mars is like.
Resident Evil is arguably one of the most successful and popular survival horror games out there, and even though later games in the series have been of arguable scariness, the first few did an amazing job. The original game for PlayStation 1 came out in 1996, making the series officially 20 years old. The Resident Evil Origins Collection contains HD remakes of Resident Evil (the first game, since it comes without a number), and the prequel, titled Resident Evil Zero. I get my S.T.A.R.S. gear ready, grab my zombie killing gear, and head for Raccoon City to kill some evil (un)dead.
When we reviewed the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt earlier this year, we proclaimed it one of the best RPGs in existence. We still stand by that opinion, but if you’ve drunk the last drops that the cup of the Witcher 3 can hold, and find you’re still not sated, then good news! There’s a nice, big expansion pack for the game out now called Hearts of Stone. Should you play it? Shouldn’t you? Well, I played it to find out.
We Review: Rebel Galaxy
Hands up those of you wanted a game that felt like Firefly and played like a cross between Star Control II, the original Elite, with bits of Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag’s naval combat and Mass Effect’s star system navigation. Well then! Have I got a game for you. Read on and find out why Rebel Galaxy is one of the best things to happen to space since the Hubble Telescope.
We Review: Mad Max
The new Mad Max movie featured precious little of Max himself, so to fill the gap in the story, we have the video game that focuses almost exclusively on him. Let’s get set for some sun, sand, ridiculous cars, and brutal mayhem as I skip across the dunes to bring you this review.
We Review: Ultratron
Who among you are old enough to remember the arcade game Robotron 2084? Or Smash TV? Or any one of those old top down, dual-stick shooter games that spawned an entire genre. If you do, you’re going to have a massive dose of nostalgia in the form of Ultratron, from the same guys who brought you that other nostalgia-fest, Titan Attacks. Let’s get our guns loaded and our transistors blazing. Or was it the other way around?
No one should have any excuse for not knowing Erwin Schroedinger’s famous thought-experiment about the cat that was both alive and dead at the same time, as a metaphor for quantum states. For those of you who forgot, in short, there’s a cat in a sealed box with a vial of poison, a detector, and a radioactive isotope. If the isotope decays, the detector detects it, breaks the vial, poison is released and the cat dies. If it doesn’t decay, the cat is alive and well. Without opening the box, how do you know if the cat is alive or dead? You don’t…until you open the box and observe the cat, it is both dead and alive at the same time. Don’t worry, though. No real cats were harmed in this experiment. Does all this have much relevance to the review? Why yes. Yes it does. Read on to find out why.
We Review: OlliOlli (3DS/Wii U)
OlliOlli is a 2D sidescrolling skateboarding game where you have to perform skateboard tricks for sick and gnarly scores. The name of the game, obviously, comes from the name of the skateboarding trick, the Ollie, and you have to make your way across various bits of urban jungle in search of the best scores and the grooviest moves. I don my helmet and kneepads, grab my board, and prepare to gleam the cube.
