The weekends go by so quickly don’t they? We had a great time taking the puppies for walkies on the mountain (photo) but like clockwork, the Sunday blues have hit me hard. Whilst I contemplate the drudgery of hacking away at my modern typewriter tomorrow, have a look at this upbeat, humorous short piece of music where a manual typewriter takes the centre stage. It was originally written in 1950 by composer Leroy Anderson, but the rendition you see below was performed in 2008 by the Strauß Festival Orchestra, featuring percussionist Martin Breinschmid on the typewriter.
