Apparently the future is happening right now. From the looks of the Terrafugia Transition, the future’s going to be an ugly place. This fancy flying car (or driving plane if you will) took to the skies on its maiden flight earlier this month. The two-seater aircraft is an unleaded-fueled front-wheel drive vehicle that can reach 65 MPH on the ground, and is able to fly 450 miles at over 115 MPH.
Expected to retail at a street price of USD 194,000, the Terrafugia Transition is able to transform from plane to car in less than 30 seconds. Optimus Prime would be proud.
