Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Bros is the fifth installment of the Mario & Luigi series of games, which started with Superstar Saga in back in 2003. The series, for those who have not experienced it yet, is essentially a JPRG starring the eponymous, infamous plumbing brothers (who, in retrospect, haven’t actually done any real plumbing in…years). I grab my markers, my glue, and my construction paper and head for the hills of the Mushroom Kingdom to see what this game is all about.

Hello, fellow Mario Kart 8 lovers! We’re back with an exciting review of the new DLC tracks that launched yesterday. We already reviewed Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U when it first came out over here, and we reviewed the first set of extra tracks, Zelda x Mario Kart, over here. Now we have the last lot of tracks and karts and characters—two more cups and eight new track, plus some more new characters and vehicles, all being reviewed right here, right now, by me. Let’s race!
We Review: Mario Party 10
The Mario Party series of games—originally developed by Hudson Soft but now developed by Nd Cube—has been around since its inception in 1998 on the Nintendo 64. Every Nintendo console since then has received one or more Mario Party games. Some of you may remember that we reviewed Mario Party 9 for the Wii a while back. The newest addition to the series is called, in a surprise twist, Mario Party 10. Surprise twist because it’s actually the fourteenth iteration in the game series. I grab my dice in hand and head down to the game boards to see just how much fun the new game is.
See that look Yoshi is giving you? You should be afraid, very afraid.
In this cautionary tale, The Peter Holmes Show reminds us that even though Mario’s lovable sidekick may look cute and all, he’s still a wild dinosaur. And what do wild dinosaurs do? Find out below.

We Review: Mario Kart 8
Mario Kart has, since 1996, been one of the best casual racing games around, not just on Nintendo, but possibly across the gamut of consoles. It’s also the greatest example of rubberband racing you’ll ever come across. Now in its eighth iteration, it’s time once again to hit the tracks and see whether the latest in kart racing is a slow start, or a mad dash for the finish. (Ed: You enjoy coming up with these ridiculous puns, don’t you?)
We Review: New Super Mario Bros. 2
New Super Mario Bros. 2 for the 3DS is the direct sequel to New Super Mario Bros. on the DS. More Mario is never a bad thing (I’ve heard it nosed about that Mario has the most appearances in numbers of video games EVER, but it’s pretty much a case of [citation needed] for that), and games in the proper numbered series are always well anticipated. This time around, the challenge is less on hunting down an errant princess than on collecting as many coins as you possibly can. And you’ll need a lot.
We Review: Mario Tennis Open
Sports video games are a very popular genre, and anything that features the great mascot of gaming himself—Mario—is bound to triple anything’s popularity. So surely combining the two would make for unstoppable games, right? I see whether putting Mario and “tennis” together works out as well as we’d hope.
The Brothers Mario
In this fake trailer created by The Country Club, the famous brothers return to the Mushroom Kingdom for an altogether darker adventure. Shot in the style of Grand Theft Auto IV, it is a more grittier and violent look at life in the Mushroom Kingdom.
Mario and Luigi have fucked with the wrong person, they’ve stolen stolen coins from Bowser, the baddest gangster around. Taking umbrage, Bowser holds Peach hostage and it’s up to the brothers and the only allies they can trust, Toad and Yoshi, to get her back. It’s an explosive action-fest with some witty dialogue to match. Check out The Brothers Mario below.
