In case you haven’t heard, there’s some kind of revolution going on in Egypt right now. Apparently, they feel that the current president (who has been in power for the past 30 years) is a complete bell-end. Naturally, this means all sorts of fun things like marches, rallies, demonstrations, shooting, maiming, looting, and shutting down of Internets. To put all of this into some kind of easy-to-understand perspective, Twitter user furrygirl created this delightful precis of the goings on. Full image after the jump.

YouTube user whosieyevan wondered what Steven Spielberg’s rollicking adventure flick, Raiders of the Lost Ark, would look like if it were made in the 1950s.
He did a little more than just ponder about it – mashing together footage from a variety of films, he created this most awesome “pre-make” that stars Charlton Heston as everyone’s favourite archaeologist. Take a look at the 1951 version of Raiders of the Lost Ark below.

A to Z of Awesomeness
A comic book artist by the name of Neill Cameron is on a quest to draw STUFF that is AWESOME. Calling his project “Neill’s A-Z of Awesomeness”, he draws a character daily based on suggestions from his Facebook group, Twitter, and comments on his blog.
So for each letter of the alphabet I am going to let people suggest a character, and I will then draw that character, on a daily basis. Got it? You are also allowed to suggest what that character should be doing, with bonus points awarded for imaginative alliteration.
His wonderful series of illustrations is currently up to the letter U. Check out some of comically cool creations below.

The fourth and in all likelihood the final installment in the Indiana Jones franchise sees a 65-year-old, virtually indestructible, Harrison Ford still slugging it out with the bad guys 27 years after he first cracked his iconic whip on the silver screen.
To be honest I wasn’t holding out much hope for this film considering Ford’s age and the huge amount of time that has passed since the last Indi movie. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that nothing changes in the alternate universe of Indiana Jones – he’s still a dead eye with his whip, ever ready with a sharp quip (that usually gets him a smack in the mouth from a bad guy), and devoted to hunting down the weirdest and most powerful artefacts in order to prevent the baddies getting their hands on them.
