Which is the Killer: Current or Voltage?

You may have heard that it’s not the voltage that kills you, but the current. Indian electrical engineer/masochist Mehdi Sadaghdar (ElectroBOOMGuy) decided to test this in his own dangerously hilarious style. Be warned, some colourful language.

Choosing a pet can be difficult. Size, temperament, and maintenance are are important factors to consider. Certain breeds are susceptible to certain diseases, and some disorders may be hereditary.

Horseplay, Gangnam Style!

South Korean rapper Psy (real name: Park Jae-Sang) is a viral sensation. The music video to his song Gangnam Style about a yokel who tries to impress a lady by pretending to be a dapper man-about-town has been viewed over 90 million times on YouTube.

The infectious charm comes from his comical equestrian-inspired dance move, which has been aptly titled “the horse-riding dance”. If you’re yet to experience it and are in need of a feel-good song, check out Gangnam Style below.

This Aperture Sentry Turret Wishes it Were a Core

It’s a thankless job being a sentry at the Aperture Science facility. One such turret wants a better life and uses its strangely melodic voice to express its dreams. Have a listen as it sings in the style of Beyoncé in If I Were A Core.

The music video was created by Portal fan and graphics designer Harry Callaghan. His other musical experiments include a witty introduction to Aperture and a song by everyone’s favorite personality core, Wheatley. See those two music videos after the jump.

Going Medieval: The Bayeux Tapestry Meme

If you liked the Joseph Ducreux/Archaic Rap meme, you might enjoy the Bayeux Tapestry meme. Created sometime in the late 11th century, the Bayeux Tapestry is an embroidered cloth panel some 70 metres long and tells the story about the Norman conquest of England that happened in the year 1066.

That was then. This is now and as is commonplace with the Internet, the tapestry has been bastardized with modern pop culture references and other popular Internet memes. For your enjoyment, we pick 10 of our favourites from this medieval meme. Find them after ye olde jump.
