Everyone is bleating on about goats at the moment. A compilation of goats screaming like humans sparked the latest craze of splicing goats into music videos. Not to be left out of the spotlight, one of the smallest of African frogs is making big noises. South African photographer Dean Boshoff was walking along the sand dunes in Port Nolloth in the Northern Cape when he came across a peculiar sound. It belonged to the Breviceps macrops, the desert rain frog. While the creature is diminutive, with a body that only reaches 6 mm in length, it certainly knows how to make its presence felt, however comical that might sound.
