Italian graffiti artist BLU of Muto fame has teamed up with like-minded David Ellis to create a most amazing (and equally oddball) time-lapse animation called COMBO.
The video was made for this year’s Fame Festival.

The idea behind Three Frames is to deconstruct a movie into a three-framed animated GIF that is on an endless loop. The results are bizarre, retro, and strangely cool.
It’s a basic concept, but if simple things amuse simple minds, then it’s got me hypnotized. Have a look at some of them below – a 1000 points to anyone who guesses which movies the animations are from.
See more at the Three Frames tumblelog. Note that some of the animations are NSFW and could induce seizures.

Men Who Stare At Goats. A goofy title with an equally oddball set of characters, one of whom can kill goats just by staring at them. That is all I’m going to say because, today, I’m all about brevity (read: lazy).
No goats, no glory. Check out the teaser trailer below or watch it in HD at YouTube.
Based on the non-fiction book by Jon Ronson, the film stars George Clooney, Jeff Bridges, Ewan Macgregor, Kevin Spacey, and Goat. It’s slated for November 6th in the U.S. and possibly April 9th, 2010 in South Africa according to this list.

Like Valerio Carrubba, Spanish artist Fernando Vincente also creates macabre illustrations, albeit from a more mechanical perspective.
In his Vanitas series, Vincente combines anatomy and portraiture to capture the classic beauty of his subjects. Have a look at some images below – click to embiggen.
In the Anatomías collection, he dissects the inner-workings of a human being to reveal the machinery hidden underneath. See these images after the jump.
Pssst. Have you come home from a tiring day at the office? Do you want to relax, have a cup of soothing Chamomile tea, and enjoy some pixel porn? Well then I have just the thing for you.
Cyporn is an art installation by Pierrick Thébault, and interface designer and journalist for Amusement Magazine. Inspired by the avatars of Cyworld, which is apparently the number one social networking website in South Korea, Thébault created a set of 5 pixel porn scenes of characters who left their saccharine-sweet home of Cyworld and to seek a more hedonistic lifestyle in the Game Boy.
Find the pixel porn scenes after the jump.

I’ve just received the best advice of the day. When you’re stressed out or having marital problems, the solution is low-tech and much much cheaper than a trip to the psychologist and a handful of Lorazepam. Check it out.
Durban folks, you me LOL!

It’s lunch time and I’m running on fumes (pity it’s not paint fumes). As such, I’m likely to make dubious posting decisions. This, I think, is not one of them.
Whythefuckdoyouhaveakid is Tumblelog questioning why some people thought it was a good idea to procreate. The picture captions are certainly bang on. Check out a few after the jump.
My mouth seriously just hung open after I saw this. I almost felt like I had witnessed something evil. Apparently this is some sort of symbol that the designer has created to illustrate her relationship with her parents.
Now, that relationship looks to me like something you’d go to jail for, but hey, whatever floats your boat, eh?
