When it comes to music, it’s like I’ve been stuck in a dark closet playing with myself my toys. Once in a while, I find a track that distracts me from the carnal pleasures and gets me hip-hopping. And that track is Beggin’ from Norwegian hip-hop duo Tshawe Baqwa and Yosef Wolde-Mariam. Hear it once, you won’t be able to shake it ;)

A year ago a young, a heavily-eyelinered, ADD-riddled young woman going by the handle of Boxxy posted an uninspiring video on Youtube. Somehow it got forwarded to 4Chan, and started an almighty flame war that split the 4Channers into two groups – the ones who professed their undying love for Boxxy, and those who hated all that she stood for. The lovers went about hacking Boxxy’s YouTube account and other websites in search of her true identity, whilst the haters launched a denial of service attack on the 4Chan itself, bringing it down for a few hours.
Having seen the video, I honestly don’t see what the fuss is about. If I had to pick a side though, I’d certainly drill a fat hole in her head and I wouldn’t charge her for my services.

Ex movie star now wanna be rapper Joaquin Phoenix made his debut this past friday. J. Pizzle performed three hip-hop tracks in front of a full house at nightclub LAVO in Las Vegas. The audience was reportedly unenthusiastic about the set but Phoenix remains passionate, saying:
Are there people out there who think I’m a joke? I’m sure there will be. Are there people who think it’s going to suck? Probably, but I can’t worry about that.
