Win Death Head Tees From a store!

It’s been a while since our last t-shirt compo, but I’m glad to say we’re back with yet another wicked giveaway. This time it’s from our friends at the super-cool lifestyle store, a store. Born in 2004 in Cape Town, a store stocks a great selection of clothing, accessories, books, and music from local and internationally known brands.

They love products, they love brands, they love shopping. And we love giving funky stuff away, so it was just a matter of time before Onelargeprawn and a store got together. Anyways enough of this foreplay, let’s get down to the good stuff. We’ve got TWO Death Head t-shirts to give away to our loyal readers. If you’re picked as a winner you’ll have a choice of colour – BLACK or TEAL.

Holy Game Giveaway, Batman!

Receiving universal acclaim over at Metacritc, Batman: Arkham Asylum sees the dark knight trapped in the iconic psychiatric hospital by the Joker, who intends to throw a party with Batman as the guest of honour. With no option but to fight, Batman must use his gadgetry and ass-kicking abilities to battle Gotham’s worst villains, and ultimately unravel the Joker’s plan.

Batman: Arkham Asylum is expected to release in South Africa on September 9th and is priced from R604 (Kalahari.net). If your funds are running low or you just don’t feel like paying for the game then I’ve got good news for you. Our buddies over at PS3Blog are running a super competition where you could stand a chance of winning Batman: Arkham Asylum for Playstation 3 AND The Dark Knight on Blu-ray.

Calling All Designers: Mingo Lamberti Needs YOU!

Our friends at Mingo Lamberti just dropped us a mail to let us know about a new competition they are running. It’s a quite a lot more involved than winning one of our giveaways but the accolades that the winner will receive are certainly worth the effort.

For its 7th range, Made in China, Mingo Lamberti is calling for designers to submit their t-shirt designs inspired by the country that bought you kung fu, white rabbit candies, and the cultural revolution, comrades!

The winning designs will be made into Mingo Lamberti’s 7th range, unveiled at a gallery evening in Cape Town, and published in Design Indaba magazine. The designers will be interviewed in Design Times and will receive vouchers for creative bookshop Biblioteq and for Vida e Caffe.

Happy Monday 5: The Mingo Lamberti T-shirt Winners!

Another Onelargeprawn giveaway has come to an end and we’re hoping to make the start to the week a little happier for three lucky people. To stand a chance of winning a super-cool Mingo Lamberti t-shirt, we asked you to name a design from any of the Mingo Lamberti ranges. Win a Call of Juarez: Bound In Blood Hamper

I was having a chat the other day with fellow gamer Delon from Curious Onion. He is fine in case you wanted to know. He also happens to be giving away a rocking Call of Juarez: Bound In Blood hamper that includes a branded t-shirt and bandana, a promotional copy of the game for the Xbox 360, and a set of 6 tequila shot glasses. There is no tequila in sight though – Delon could have drunk it, he is sneaky that way ;-)

Win T-Shirts from Mingo Lamberti!

It’s been a week since our last giveaway and I’ve already got the DTs. Lucky for me and you, Mingo Lamberti has offered some of their super-cool merch for us to give away.

Named after his grandfather, a good man who believed in doing a good job at whatever he did, Brad Hodgskiss created t-shirt collective Mingo Lamberti to bring those same principles into the t-shirts and their designs. There have been six ranges thus far – each design gets printed 200 times and made available at independent clothing stores around Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Durban.

We’ve got not one, not two, but THREE Mingo Lamberti tees to give away this week, and if you’re picked as a winner you’ll be able to choose your tee from two specific ranges.

The gentleman can select any design from the Electric range.

And the ladies can take a pick from these three designs in the Nature range.
