Given the content of Bryan Fuller’s artistically gruesome series Hannibal, it’s hard to imagine it in a humourous way (moreso considering NBC has has lost its appetite for it). However, Hannibal is proved to be quite the comedian in this series of GIFs. Watch as our favourite serial killer/culinarian delivers some cheesy jokes. They’re killer.

Because using a conventional surfboard is too pedestrian for Robbie Maddison, the freestyle motocross rider decided to catch some waves atop a modified dirt bike. He transitions from land to sea with ease and speed, and rides a sizeable wave in Tahiti like it ain’t no thang.

Did you know that since its inception in the late 30s up until the early 90s, three very distinct stars were featured in Samsung’s logo? They were to represent something “big, numerous, and powerful.” And big it is — the Electronics arm of Samsung is the world’s largest technology company (by sheer revenue). And just a couple of months ago, our local Samsung Electronics South Africa broke the Guinness World Record for the most selfies taken in one day using new Samsung Galaxy A3 and A5 range of smartphones.

With its #CreateWithCanon campaign, Canon South Africa wants to encourage the use of its cameras in the urban creative and photography hobbyist markets.
You may recall my first #CreateWithCanon post where I had a gander at the PowerShot SX600 HS, its build quality, connectivity features, and how easily it fit into my pocket. I did gloss over the shooting modes, so let’s take a look at the finer details in this post.

One’s priorities change the older one gets, so they say. I find that with every growing year now (I am in my 30s), convenience is pretty high on the list of priorities. So I’d prefer my computers to be pre-built. I like to file my tax online rather than getting it wrong on paper. I want my purchases to come to me and not the other way around. I’m like that with cameras too. Gone are the days when I’d want my camera to come in pieces and requires a separate backpack to carry it all in. I want something discreet, a shooter that I can easily slip down a pocket just as easily as I can pick it up for those quick snaps.

The PowerShot range is Canon’s answer to convenient photography with cameras that are more portable and fun, and emphasize the ease of use over their bulky and more expensive cousins in the EOS range. With its #CreateWithCanon campaign, Canon South Africa wants to encourage the use of its cameras in the urban creative and photography hobbyist markets. As a part of this campaign, I take a look at the PowerShot SX series (SX stands for “Super Zoom”, FYI), and in particular, the PowerShot SX600 HS.
