Did you know that since its inception in the late 30s up until the early 90s, three very distinct stars were featured in Samsung’s logo? They were to represent something “big, numerous, and powerful.” And big it is — the Electronics arm of Samsung is the world’s largest technology company (by sheer revenue). And just a couple of months ago, our local Samsung Electronics South Africa broke the Guinness World Record for the most selfies taken in one day using new Samsung Galaxy A3 and A5 range of smartphones.
Do you know what else is verging on a record?
Started in June 2014, #MissionSamsung must be one of the longest blogger challenges in recent history. The ONELARGEPRAWN blog has taken part in two of these challenges. I reviewed a Samsung LED Smart TV for challenge #2 and walked away the winner, and our ace reviewer (and master baker at OMG Cake Vir Jou!) had a dalliance with a phabulous phablet in challenge #5.
It’s the penultimate stage of the challenge now, and I thought we could take a look back at it (and the various products) in picture form. To see the graphic in its full resolution, click it then hit the expand icon in the top-right corner.
The sixth and final challenge draws close and will pit the three finalists against one another on the #MissionSamsung Game Show on SABC 3’s Expresso Morning Show. If the wind blows right, I hope to make that final cut and be crowned the ONELARGEWINNER. Wish me luck :)
