Three Frames

The idea behind Three Frames is to deconstruct a movie into a three-framed animated GIF that is on an endless loop. The results are bizarre, retro, and strangely cool.

It’s a basic concept, but if simple things amuse simple minds, then it’s got me hypnotized. Have a look at some of them below – a 1000 points to anyone who guesses which movies the animations are from.

See more at the Three Frames tumblelog. Note that some of the animations are NSFW and could induce seizures.

LOL – first one looks like 70’s pr0n. Second one is from Stephen Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Third, possibly from Psycho? Next one looks like it might be from Titanic. Not sure about the last one?

debbie does dallas
close encounters of the third kind
psycho
poseidon (the first one)
towering inferno

i will be chuffed if i even get one right.

Embarrassing I know, but I’ve never seen Debbie Does Dallas O:-) Is it any good – stunning cinematography, chatty dialogue, killer plot twist?

I only knew Close Encounters and Poseidon, but I’m figuring easy is correct on this one.

LOL I remember we sneaked a peak at some scenes as kids. But I think even without seeing any others, I think it’s pretty easy to figure out the cinematography, plot and dialogue of the Debbie Does series :)
