In light of our previous post on what is likely to be the most special-effects laden movie yet, I found this most awesome montage that pays tribute to the films that have been dazzling audiences with groundbreaking special effects.
Intended as a into to a classroom lecture, Visual Effects: 100 Years of Inspiration takes a look at 26 notable visual effects films of the past century. Whilst it has skipped out the likes of Blade Runner, The Matrix, and Lord of the Rings, it goes a good job nonetheless. See it below.
