In this video from Thailand, a young deaf girls goes through a gamut of emotions and even physical pain in her quest to play the violin at a recital.
As a tale of the underdog, I thought it was very touching and my eyes went a little moist…until I go to the end of the video, whereupon I felt a bit cheated. See what I’m talking about below.
Let us know what you thought about it.

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhh! I feel cheated too!
Dude, totally. It was pretty lengthy as well, and I just thought it was a feel-good short film. It was well done though, and sneakier than all the Pantene ads we see here.
True. Can you imagine what it must have cost to air such a long commercial during prime-time?
I’m sure it was well steep. But given the attention Thais pay to their hair, it was probably worth it.
Say, have you seen this Thai ad for ceiling boards? I found it more touching.
Hehehe that ceiling boards ad was funny and cute – you got what you expected :)
